Related to the IDEA sponsored Extended Fragrance Ingredients Surveillance Study (EFFIS)
Related to the IDEA sponsored Extended Fragrance Ingredients Surveillance Study (EFFIS) a patch test reading workshop was organized at Malmö University hospital on September 20, 2024, as kind of kick-off event for launching the first round of collecting clinical data. To ensure establishing reliable clinical data a central element of EFISS is the harmonization of processes and rigid control. The focus of the workshop, addressing involved clinicians and nurses form the engaged clinics, was standardization of loading oof patch test chambers by different techniques as well as reading of patient reactions, with focus on differentiating irritation form weak sensitization reactions.
