The IDEA project is designed to provide a broadly agreed and transparent framework for assessing fragrance sensitizers globally via the development of strong partnerships between the international fragrance industry and its stakeholders. Four years after its official kick-off, this Annual Review allowed monitoring the progress made and identifying the key priorities to be addressed.
As in the previous years, significant time and efforts have been dedicated to the revision of the Dermal Sensitisation QRA. The follow-up of the interim report submitted to the EU Commission in 2015 has been presented as well as first considerations on the effectiveness assessment of the methodology.
A summary of the key outcome of a working group meeting focusing on method providing information on potency is provided.
